AEG Vision is hiring an Optometric Technician to support doctors with pre-testing, diagnostic tests, and efficient scheduling to ensure top‑quality patient care. You’ll handle patient intake, records, and post‑exam tasks, working closely with the Optometrists.

You’ll perform preliminary evaluations and help with diagnostic testing, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation in EHR systems. Join a team that values learning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Experience maintaining patients’ records per HIPAA regulations.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-testing procedures prior to exam by the Optometrist.
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Manage the doctor’s appointment schedule for efficient workflow.
• Perform end-of-day wrap-up and daily schedule checks.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and policies.
• Assist with medical documentation in EHR and clerical duties.
