Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in eye care or medical office preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient records.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary patient evaluations prior to exam and assist with testing.
• Schedule referrals and manage the doctor’s appointment calendar.
• Maintain patient records in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and document findings in EHR.
• Support post-exam tasks and patient education.
