AEG Vision is seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to support patient care alongside our optometrists. You will perform pre-testing, assist with specialized diagnostics, manage schedules, and help ensure an efficient, high‑quality patient experience from check-in to check-out.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and HIPAA compliance, with responsibilities ranging from documentation to patient education and daily clinical operations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient PC skills including MS Office and Windows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations prior to exams (dilations, topicals, diagnostic tests, Visual acuity).
• Assist Optometrists with specialty testing and post-exam tasks.
• Manage doctor appointment schedules and EHR documentation.
• Handle patient inquiries and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
• Support contact lens education, inventory, and daily practice operations.
• Assist with end-of-day wrap-up and facility cleanliness.
