Job summary

Affinity Eye Care in Colorado Springs seeks an Optometric Technician to support eye care teams and patient education. You will conduct pre-testing, assist with diagnostics, and help manage the doctor’s schedule to deliver a high-quality patient experience from start to finish.

The role requires experience with eye exams, familiarity with medical terms, and relevant certifications (CPO/CPOA/CPOT). On-site work with full-time benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye treatment.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-testing procedures and assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Manage doctor’s appointment schedule to ensure efficient care.
• Record and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Assist with clerical duties related to medical documentation and CPT codes.
