Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye care.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations prior to exam (dilation, topicals, diagnostic meds).
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing.
• Manage doctor’s appointment schedule for efficient patient flow.
• Document findings in EHR and assist with medical documentation.
• Check CPT codes and post-op/billing processes.
