Job summary

Affinity Eye Care is hiring an Optometric Technician to support Optometrists and provide high-quality patient care. You will conduct pre-testing, assist with specialty diagnostics, and help manage the doctor’s schedule to ensure smooth patient experiences.

The role requires reacting quickly to patient needs, performing tests, and maintaining accurate records in the EHR system. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing eye exam medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment.
• Industry certification (CPO, CPOA, CPOT).

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations of patients prior to exam by the Optometrist (dilation, medications, testing).
• Assist with specialty diagnostic testing and post-exam tasks.
• Manage doctor appointment schedule to ensure efficient patient flow.
