Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to work alongside our optometrists in a high-volume retail setting. You will perform pre-testing, assist with exams, and support contact lens training while ensuring a smooth patient experience and accurate data recording.

You will collaborate with doctors, store teams, and patients, maintaining organized exam rooms, replenishing supplies, and upholding privacy standards. Training opportunities and a supportive team culture are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between doctor and patient and build rapport.
• Conduct pre-testing data collection such as autorefraction and visual acuity.
• Assist with in-person and video assisted exams.
• Provide insertion/removal training for contact lenses to patients.
• Support appointment flow from booking to follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records of collected data for clinicians.
• Prepare reports for medical professionals as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA/privacy and store procedures are followed.
