Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Monroe, NC is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors with pretest testing, measurements, and patient prep for exams. No prior optical experience? Training will be provided to learn the workflow and deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

You will help maintain smooth patient flow, educate patients on procedures, and collaborate with the optometry team to ensure comfort and accuracy. Weekend/evening shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Assist in preparing patients for optometry exams by recording medical history and current conditions.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history for exam prep.
• Maintain smooth patient flow between reception and doctor during appointments.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures they will undergo.
• Learn and operate pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
