Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors by preparing patients for exams, conducting preliminary testing, and learning to use pretest equipment for visual screenings. Weekend/evening shifts may be required. Training will be provided for candidates with or without optical experience.

Qualifications

• Provide direct support to Doctors of Optometry during patient prep.
• Handle preliminary testing and measurements with training.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients and staff during appointments.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history.
• Prepare patients for Optometrist exams.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Assist with contact lens training where applicable.
