Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for exams, performing preliminary testing, and guiding patients through the visit. Training and tools will be provided to learn about vision care and our high-quality patient experience.

You will document medical history, operate pretest equipment, and help ensure a smooth patient flow while delivering compassionate care. Some weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Healthcare/optical background preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures during appointments.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team to provide seamless patient experience.
