MyEyeDr. in North Carolina is seeking an Optometric Technician to support our Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for exams, performing preliminary testing, and documenting medical history. Training will be provided to learn about the industry and our procedures to deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

No optical experience? No problem—training and tools are provided to perform visual screenings, contact lens training, and collaborate with the team for a seamless patient visit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Personable with ability to comfort patients during screening.
• Willingness to learn about optics and related procedures.

Responsabilités

• Consult with patients, document medical history and prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to doctor and staff during appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort with office procedures during visits.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other tests.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide a seamless patient experience.
