MyEyeDr. in Ocala, FL is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors during visits, performing preliminary testing and measurements. Training provided to learn pretest equipment and visual screenings, contributing to a best-in-class patient experience.

You will document patient history, ensure smooth flow to the doctor, and help with contact lens training where applicable. Weekend/evening shifts may be required, and you will join a collaborative team focused on quality care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Personable and patient with patients.
• Detail-oriented and able to work closely with the Optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Collaborative team player enhancing patient experience.
• Healthcare/optical background preferred but training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history to prep for exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to Doctor and staff.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with procedures they will be exposed to.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team to provide seamless patient experience.
