Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician to support Doctors of Optometry with preliminary testing and patient prep. Training will be provided for pretest equipment and screenings, with some weekend/evening shifts required.

You will document medical history, help manage patient flow, and ensure comfort during exams while collaborating with the team to deliver a best-in-class patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with the ability to understand/do basic math.
• Personable, patient and able to comfort patients during screening.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients, document conditions and medical history to prep for Optometrist exam.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the Doctor and staff during appointment.
• Ensure patients are comfortable with office procedures during appointment.
• Learn to use pretest equipment to perform visual screenings.
• Conduct contact lens training for applicable patients and other preliminary testing.
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team for a seamless patient experience.
