Responsibilities

• Display a professional image and greet patients promptly.

• Assist the optometrist in eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; identify needs.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and patient data.
• Support retention and exams scheduling including calls and reminders.
• Place contact lens orders and maintain the contact lens room.
• Input data in CIAO system with insurance and fees accurately.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and patients.
• Assist with merchandising in exam lanes and equipment areas.
