Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver high-quality patient care and support the optometrist during eye exams. You will gather medical history, perform tests, and help ensure a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain patient records, assist with contact lens management, and uphold safety and cleanliness of the exam lanes. Prior customer service and healthcare exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of strong customer service experience.
• Leadership and communication skills are required.
• Problem solving and organizational abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and professionally.
• Assist the optometrist with examinations and history collection.
• Perform pre-exam testing and keep patient records HIPAA compliant.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of exam areas and equipment.
• Support retail as patient demand allows.
