Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and support the optometrist during exams. You will obtain medical history, prepare patients for testing, and ensure accurate data entry in CIAO system.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, excellent communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced optical clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional image, greet patients promptly with a smile.
• Promptly answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist in eye examinations and prepare patients for testing.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; identify special needs and consult when necessary.
• Handle and file patient records in accordance with HIPAA.
• Support retention and cultivation of exams and follow-up calls.
