Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to deliver expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care at our St. Louis practice. You will assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings, ensure proper fit, and dispense prescriptions with precision and care.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient with customized product recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings based on prescription and lifestyle.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR and system, ensuring proper documentation.
• Explain insurance coverage, benefits, copays, and warranties to patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice and frames displays.
