AEG in Texas seeks an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care, translating prescriptions into style and comfort. You will assist patients in frame selection, ensure proper measurements, and dispense lenses with accuracy while maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities include educating patients on insurance benefits, performing eyewear adjustments, and collaborating with technicians to ensure timely delivery and patient satisfaction in a busy on-site

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an optician preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience, explains products and services to patients.
• Assists patients in frame and lens selection based on lifestyle and prescription.
• Ensures proper frame fit and lens measurements and dispenses accordingly.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance benefits, copays, deductibles, and authorizations.
