Job summary

AEG Vision in Dallas is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style.

By ensuring proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing, Opticians will combine technical expertise with outstanding customer service. A commitment to quality and patient satisfaction drives trust, loyalty, and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician.
• Experience with eyewear fittings and lens dispensing.
• Knowledge of medical and vision insurance concepts.
• Ability to use EHR/ALE system and maintain patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings to match prescriptions and lifestyle.
• Ensure proper frame fit, take precise measurements, and dispense lenses accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service and explain insurance benefits and warranties.
• Update patients on order status and resolve any issues with orders promptly.
• Maintain clean work area and up-to-date knowledge of products and rebates.
