AEG is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in frame and lens selection, ensure proper measurements, and provide outstanding service throughout the dispensing process.

The role emphasizes patient satisfaction, accurate prescription interpretation, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, warranties, and insurance coverage. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Competenze

• State licensure for optician practice.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories.
• Interpret prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.
• Enter prescription data into the EHR/ALE systems.
• Provide eyewear adjustments and repairs for proper fit and comfort.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care, warranties, and insurance benefits.
• Maintain product knowledge on lenses, coatings, and frame options.
• Communicate with technicians and managers about orders.
