AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to deliver expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care. You will guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit prescriptions, lifestyle, and style, ensuring accurate measurements and proper fit.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent customer service skills and pleasant demeanor, experience with sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses and accessories.
• Ensure proper frame fit and accurate measurements.
• Enter prescription information into EHR/ALE systems.
• Provide patient education on lens care, warranties, and insurance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the display and work areas.
• Communicate with technicians and managers on order status.
