Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced optical practice.

You will assist patients in choosing frames, lenses, and treatments while ensuring accurate measurements and fitting for comfort and vision clarity. This role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in optician role is beneficial and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Help patients select eyewear and accessories based on prescription, lifestyle, and style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Explain products, warranties, and care to patients and answer questions.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter data into EHR systems accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and displays.
