AEG Vision is seeking an experienced Optician who will provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will help patients select frames and lenses that fit prescription, lifestyle, and personal style, ensuring proper fit and accurate measurements.

The role emphasizes high-quality service, continued learning about products, insurance benefits, and customer satisfaction. A strong background in eyewear, attention to detail, and solid communication skills are essential for success

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year of optician experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with MC Office, Windows, and general PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories fitting prescription, lifestyle, and personal style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Enter prescription data into the EHR and ALE systems; attach documents to patient chart.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care, warranty, and insurance coverage.
• Follow up on orders and update patients on status; resolve issues with management if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice environment.
