Responsibilities

Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical charts.
Educate patients on corrective lens options and help them choose based on medical needs and lifestyle.
Provide honest but compassionate feedback about frame aesthetics.
Achieve sales goals and quotas while addressing patients’ needs.
Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure variety and satisfaction.
Communicate with physicians regarding prescriptions and eye-related issues.
Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear.
Place optical orders with an understanding of insurance benefits.
Independently troubleshoot related issues.
Operate lensometer and other tools to ensure proper fitting.
