Keplr Vision in Illinois is seeking an Optician I to join our team. You will review prescriptions, educate patients on corrective lens options, and ensure the highest quality of care while assisting with frame selection and eyewear adjustments.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience, superb customer service, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, coachable attitude. Training is provided for optical products and insurance benefits to support patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical to this role.
• 0–3 years of experience; training provided for optics if needed.

Responsabilités

• Review prescriptions and orders based on medical charts.
• Educate patients on corrective lens options and lifestyles.
• Provide feedback on frame aesthetics.
• Achieve sales goals and quotas set by office staff.
• Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses.
• Communicate with physician on prescriptions and eye-related issues.
• Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear.
• Place optical orders with understanding of insurance benefits.
