Job summary

Keplr-Vision-Group is seeking an Optician I to ensure patients receive high-quality eye care. You will review prescriptions, educate patients on lens options, and help them select frames that fit medical needs and lifestyle preferences.

You will also drive sales, manage frame and contact lens inventories, and coordinate with physicians on prescriptions while performing eyewear adjustments and insurance-based orders.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation are critical for this role.
• 0–3 years of experience is ideal; we'll train the right person if needed.

Responsibilities

• Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical charts
• Educate patients on corrective lens options and help them choose based on medical needs and lifestyle
• Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames
• Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while addressing patients’ needs
• Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure product variety and satisfaction
• Communicate with physician with questions or concerns about prescriptions
• Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear
• Place optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits
