Job summary

Keplr Vision is seeking an Optician I to ensure top-quality patient care. You will review prescriptions, educate patients on lens options, and assist with frame choices while meeting sales goals and maintaining inventory.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience; optical training will be provided if needed. This is a full‑time, on‑site position at our Sandy Springs, GA location.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and presentation are essential.
• 0–3 years of experience in optics or related field is expected.
• Optical experience is preferred but not necessary—we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Review physicians’ prescriptions and orders based on medical charts.
• Educate patients on corrective lens options and help them choose what fits medical and lifestyle needs.
• Provide honest but compassionate feedback about frame aesthetics.
• Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while assisting patients.
• Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure customer satisfaction and product variety.
• Communicate with physicians about prescriptions and other eye-related issues.
• Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear.
• Place optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits.
