Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to join our on-site Denver practice. You will provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care, assisting patients in frame and lens selection, ensuring proper measurements and lens dispensing.

You'll use instruments like pupilometers and lensmeters, work with EHR systems, and maintain insurance knowledge while delivering outstanding service. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.
• Proficient with PC skills including MS Office and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary patient experience with clear explanations of recommended products.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and accessories based on lifestyle and prescription.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing with high accuracy.
• Input prescription information into EHR/ALE systems and maintain patient charts.
• Engage with patients about insurance coverage, benefits, and costs.
