Zusammenfassung

AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames, ensure proper measurements, and dispense lenses with accuracy while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will interpret prescriptions, manage orders in the EHR/ALE system, and educate patients on lens options, coatings, and insurance benefits. ABO/NCLE preferred, strong communication required.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.

Aufgaben

• Help patients select eyewear fitting prescription, lifestyle, and style.
• Take and interpret prescriptions; enter into EHR/ALE system.
• Adjust eyewear for fit and comfort and perform repairs.
• Educate patients on lens types, coatings, care, and warranty.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance benefits and coverage details.
• Communicate with technicians and managers on order status.
