AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting eyewear, ensure proper frame fit and accurate lens dispensing, and translate prescriptions into accurate orders within the EHR system.

You will communicate with technicians, doctors, and patients to ensure timely delivery, maintain knowledge of insurance benefits, and deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient with customized product recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments based on lifestyle and prescription.
• Interpret prescriptions and ensure accurate lens dispensing and order status updates.
• Maintain understanding of insurance plans, eligibility, and benefits.
• Communicate with technicians and managers to track orders and resolve issues.
