Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and patient care in our Minnesota practice. You will assist patients in selecting frames, ensure proper fit, and dispense lenses with accuracy, while delivering outstanding service.

You'll work with technicians and doctors to interpret prescriptions, communicate with patients about options, and keep up-to-date on products, lens technologies, and insurance coverage. Join our team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Optician preferred.
• HIPAA experience preferred.
• Proficient PC skills (Office, Windows).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories fitting prescription and lifestyle.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Enter prescription data into EHR/ALE and maintain patient charts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and explain products and services.
• Respond to patient order status and resolve issues with management escalation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice and displays.
