Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optician in Hugo, Minnesota to deliver expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper fit and accurate measurements, and dispense lenses with high quality service.

Knowledge of insurance basics and patient education is valued. The role supports a team that emphasizes leadership development, collaboration, and continuous learning within a busy practice.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit prescription and lifestyle.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR and ensure documentation is attached to patient charts.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, warranties, and insurance basics.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the practice.
