AEG is hiring an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting eyewear that fits prescriptions, lifestyle, and personal style, ensuring proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient with complete product/service explanations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments based on prescription and lifestyle.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, rebates, lens types, and warranty options.
• Enter prescription data into EHR/ALE accurately and attach documentation.
• Inspect, fit, adjust, and polish eyewear for comfort and visual acuity.
• Communicate with technicians and managers to track orders and resolve issues.
