Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team and help customers see clearly with confidence. You will become an expert in our glasses and brand, assist long-time fans and first-time wearers, and deliver extraordinary service that makes people excited about our glasses.

Responsibilities include taking measurements, fitting eyewear, explaining prescription terminology, and ensuring finished eyewear meets our optical standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communication—able to break down technical terms for customers.

Responsibilities

• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Work with team to ensure exceptional service for all customers.
• Help customers choose frames/lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate on best practices for sales and customer service.
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and our mission to educate customers.
