Job summary

Warby Parker is hiring skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team. You will become an expert in our glasses, assist customers, take measurements, and ensure eyewear meets both our standards and client needs.

You’ll help customers select frames and lenses while upholding our brand and service ethos. The ideal candidate is licensed or ABO-certified, passionate about eyewear, and effective at explaining prescription terms.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensing states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail and able to explain terms clearly.
• Strong communication to help customers understand prescriptions and options.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to provide exceptional service and best practices.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Represent the brand and educate others about Warby Parker values.
