Job summary

AEG is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and preferences, ensuring accurate measurements and proper lens dispensing.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, rebates, and lens technologies while delivering outstanding customer service and building patient trust and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Requires state licensure and optical dispensing experience.
• High School diploma or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments based on prescription and lifestyle.
• Ensure proper frame fit, precise measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Explain insurance coverage, warranties, and product care to patients.
• Enter prescription data into EHR and ALE systems and keep patient charts updated.
