Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optician in Round Rock, Texas to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will help patients select frames and lenses, ensure proper measurements, and dispense accurately while delivering outstanding service.

Applicants should have at least one year of experience, a High School diploma or GED, and strong communication skills; ABO/NCLE is a plus. This on-site role includes full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MS Office, Windows, and Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient with customized product recommendations.
• Take and interpret prescriptions from Optometrists/Ophthalmologists and enter into EHR/ALE systems.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments based on lifestyle and prescription.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing; adjust as needed.
