Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear and patient care on-site in Centennial, CO. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper fit, interpret prescriptions, and help with insurance information.

The role emphasizes accurate measurements, quality service, and building trust with patients. Full-time with comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within the practice.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient and explains recommendations clearly.
• Receive patient handoff from technicians or doctors and identify visual needs to recommend frames/lenses.
• Keeps current on products, rebates, lenses and frames.
• Enter prescription information into the EHR/ALE system and manage order status.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lens type, and coatings; ensure proper fit.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, warranty, and insurance basics.
• Performs other duties as needed by management.
