AEG in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an Optician to deliver eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings that fit prescriptions and lifestyle, ensuring proper fit and accurate lens dispensing.

You will interpret prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, enter data into the EHR, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.
• PC skills to include MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent customer service skills and pleasant demeanor, experience with sales preferred.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsabilités

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient and explains customized recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Keeps current on products, rebates, and lens/frame options.
• Enter prescription data into the EHR/ALE system and communicate order status.
• Inspect final products for quality and proper fit; perform adjustments and repairs.
• Educate patients on care, warranty, and insurance coverage.
