AEG is hiring an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will help patients select frames and lenses that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper frame fit, taking measurements, dispensing lenses, and educating patients on eyewear care and insurance coverage. Proficiency with EHR/ALE systems and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• HIPAA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories.
• Interpret prescriptions and dispense glasses with proper fit.
• Educate patients on eyewear care and insurance coverage.
• Enter prescription information into EHR and ALE systems.
