Job summary

AEG is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care on-site. You will assist patients in selecting frames and accessories, ensure proper fit and accurate lens dispensing, and educate patients on care and coverage.

This full-time role emphasizes high-quality service, product knowledge, and collaboration with technicians and doctors to deliver a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• HIPAA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in eyewear selection fitting prescription, lifestyle, and style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, take measurements, and dispense lenses.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, warranties, and insurance basics.
• Maintain order status and coordinate with technicians/doctors; address issues promptly.
• Communicate with team to ensure timely patient service.
