Job summary

Affinity Eye Care is seeking an experienced Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in choosing frames, lenses, and coatings while ensuring accurate measurements and proper fit.

Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, communicating with technicians and managers, and delivering a complete patient experience with strong customer service and sales focus. This full-time, on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with HIPAA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories based on prescription, lifestyle and style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Explain insurance benefits and options to patients and answer questions.
