Clarkson Eyecare, Inc. is hiring an Optical Technician in Rock Hill, MO. You will dispense glasses and contacts from optometrist prescriptions, assist patients with frame selection, and ensure accurate measurements and order fulfillment.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of insurance forms, and HIPAA compliance. ABO/ABOC/NCLE is preferred, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance forms.
• HIPAA: compliance with privacy rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings.
• Measure and confirm patient prescription details and facial measurements.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders accurately in the system.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked work areas.
• Support with office duties as needed.
