Job summary

Nationwide Vision in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Optical Technician to deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience, dispensing and fitting glasses and contacts from optometrists' prescriptions while maximizing retail sales.

You will assist in frame selection, operate lensometers, document measurements, and ensure accurate orders in E360. The role requires strong communication and HIPAA compliance, with full benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hospitable communication with patients and staff
• HIPAA compliance and PHI protection
• Ability to interpret prescriptions and safety rules
• Background check clearance as required by state
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Dispense and fit glasses and contacts per prescriptions
• Assist patients in frame selection to match style and measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and lensometer
• Educate on lenses, coatings, and frame options
• Take measurements: bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, PD
• Process orders in E360 and maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with office duties
