Job summary

Warby Parker in Willowbrook, IL seeks an Optical Supervisor to lead our in‑house optical team. You’ll work directly with customers, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished spectacles meet optical standards and customer requests.

As a keyholder, you’ll open/close the store and drive daily operations with a positive, proactive approach. Ideal candidates are licensed opticians (or ABO-certified in non‑licensing states) with at least 2 years of experience, including supervisory roles,

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with state license or ABO certification
• Minimum 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries

Responsibilities

• Optical duties: assist customers, record measurements, fit eyewear, ensure accuracy and quality
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Leadership: set daily store up for success, mentor Optical team, manage store operations and inventory
• Drive store sales and service, be main contact for questions
• Maintain store systems and foster a positive team culture
