You will guide sales associates, assist customers with selections, and act as alternate store key holder; lab duties include edging and mounting lenses and ensuring finished eyewear meets standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong basic math and sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide unsurpassed customer service and assist in store success.
• Assist customers with selections and provide recommendations.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In the Lab, perform edging and mount prescription lenses.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and lab tool maintenance.
