Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and oversee store operations. You will manage optical and lab processes, guide sales associates, and ensure both patient and customer satisfaction with accurate product recommendations.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and knowledge of optics and merchandise, with opportunities in lab support where applicable. This is a full-time on-site position in Fort Worth, TX.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical & retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
• Proactive and solution-driven with accurate execution and product knowledge.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
• Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In lab (if applicable): custom fits glasses and places prescriptions in lenses; maintain lab tools and safety practices.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Create a safe working environment and ongoing maintenance of lab tools and systems.
