Job summary

Warby Parker is opening a new store and seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead the in-house optical team. You will work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards.

You will mentor the optical team, manage store operations, and act as a keyholder to open/close the store, while fostering a positive, productive environment. Licensing or ABO certification is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified required.
• Experience helping customers with eyewear needs and measurements.
• Ability to explain prescription terms and product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy; ensure standards meet requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Lead store duties and mentor Optical team; support store operations.
