Job summary

Warby Parker is opening a new store and seeks an Optical Supervisor to lead the in-house optical team, uphold high service standards, and ensure flawless eyewear fittings and customer experiences.

The role requires a licensed or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years of supervision, strong communication, and a passion for eyewear. You will help open and operate the store, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Optical duties: take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy, ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests, explain prescription terminology and products to customers.
• Leadership responsibilities: set daily store operations, drive store vision and sales, mentor Optical team including Apprentice Program, maintain store systems and inventory, foster a positive team culture.
