Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team. As a keyholder, you'll open and close the store, mentor the opticians and retail advisors, and help create exceptional customer experiences by combining eyewear expertise with warm, confident service.

You should be a licensed dispensing optician (ABO certified where required) with 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and a passion for eyewear.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
• Passion for eyewear and retail industries with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical duties: assist customers, take measurements, fit eyewear, ensure standards are met.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants, and uphold store systems.
• Open/close procedures and maintain inventory and store operations.
